Here's the full drawing I did for the Top Shelf website banner, as line art and colored versions. Sue is the Tyrannosaurs Rex skeleton at the Field Museum in Chicago.
I color on the original drawing. That can cause problems with reproduction and everything, but it just looks and feels different to me that way. The hardest was probably the Simpsons story, where I did the text separate too. If I had that to do over I'd do the text in-drawing.
